Vereins Quilt Guild located here in Fredericksburg is having their 6th Biennial Quilt show "Stiches from the Heart" during the Labor Day weekend -- what a great time to come visit Fredericksburg and enjoy our wonderful quilt show. Vereins Guild goes all out with quilts, boutique items (everyone is busy making terrific items for the boutique), wonderful tea room - delicious sandwiches, homemade cookies, refreshing drinks and a beautiful donation quilt. The quilt is valued at $3,400 for insurance purposes. Hope you can make it.

As you have probably heard - we (Pocketful of Poseys) have "hopped out" of the Bluebonnet Patchwork Trail Shop Hop (April 15 - 18).The shops work really hard to pull off this wonderful weekend event and we no longer feel that we have the wherewithal to pull our weight in the hop.
We will be open our regular hours on 4/15 - 17 (Thursday - Saturday)(We are not open on Sundays). Vereins Quilt Guild will display their gorgeous donation quilt at our shop during this time and will be selling tickets for a chance to win it.
While we do not want to take your time away from the shop hop, we do hope you can stop by to see and purchase tickets for the quilt.
As our thank you for stopping in you will be able to register to win free tickets (donated by Pocketful of Poseys) to win the quilt.
There is always food at Pocketful of Poseys so we will also have refreshments (good strong coffee) and other tokens of our appreciation during this time.
We are making plans for our 11th Anniversary Celebration - so -- on Thursday, Friday & Saturday (4/15 - 4/17, 2010) we will be giving out coupons to use during the month of June, 2010.
