Quilting and sewing is big this year - it is definitely happening! Yeah!! We have another beginning quilting class coming in -- this one will be in May and will be lead by Kate Hunter. Go to our class schedule to read more about it. We are preparing for the 2 3 4 Road Trip with 3 other fantastic shops - Creations, Gone Quiltin and Fabric & Friends. This is going to be the most fun ever mini shop hop. We will all have an informative and fun demo every two hours on the hour. We will give you a free block pattern with batik fabrics to make it just for sitting through the short demo. Our demo will be led by Linda Miller -- she is good at teaching as a lot of you know. We will also offer a class of what Linda shows you. We're keeping it a secret - but trust us you will throughly enjoy Linda and her demo. This quilt show features quilts and wall hangings, a judged quilt show, old fashioned bed turning, vendors, boutique, silent auction, donation quilt, scissors sharpening and tea room. At the Gillespie County Farm Bureau. Friday and Saturday 10 am to 5 pm; Sunday 11 am to 4 pm. Admission $6 per person. Address: 237 Equestrian Drive |
