Betty & I along with our 5 brothers were born and raised in Cajun-land and the one thing we learned was to "enjoy everything" from sucking crawfish heads to slurping down raw oysters and boiled okra!!!! Yes, I know - it sounds down right disgusting but I will give it to the folks back home - they sure can cook!!!

So what does cooking have to do with it you ask! Nothing actually - I just got side tracked when talking about "let the good times roll".

We are also "letting the good time roll" as we celebrate the 4th of July. So we are closed SUNDAY & MONDAY, JULY 4 & 5, 2010.

We'd love to have you come visit us. Pocketful of Poseys is located approximately 1 mile south of Main Street (Hwy 290). From the Nimitz Museum, come south on Washington Street (Hwy 87) to the signal light at Highway Street. Turn right on Highway Street - we are the 3rd building on the left across from the Best Western.

POCKETFUL OF POSEYS is open 6 days a week:

MONDAY thru FRIDAY from 9:30am -- 5:30pm

SATURDAYS from 9:30am -- 4:00pm

SUNDAYS -- CLOSED
